Application of non-woven fabrics in rice seedbeds

Non-woven fabrics, commonly known as lazy man films, have begun to be used in large-scale rice seedbeds. They are quickly accepted by the majority of rice farmers due to their advantages such as no roasting of seedlings and convenient operation.

1. How to use the non-woven fabric

(1) The non-woven fabric is laid on the bottom of the pan

1. Advantages

The effect is the same The gauze, the seedling tray is not clay when the seedling is raised, which can improve the efficiency of the seedling.

2. Disadvantages

(1) When the seedbed is too viscous or wet, during the pan placement process, it is impossible to level with the floating soil when stepping out of the footwell, which will easily lead to the part of the seedling pan. Hanging in the air, it is easy to dry out later.

(2) Increase the cost.

(2) Lay the non-woven fabric on the tray

After sowing and covering the soil, lay the non-woven fabric flat. If the seedbed is covered with double layers, the mulch should be placed on the non-woven fabric.

Second, objective evaluation of non-woven fabrics

(1) Advantages

The service life of non-woven fabrics is generally 3 years.

1. Breathable function

The non-woven fabric has micropores, which can be naturally ventilated after sowing and before seedlings.

2. Moisturizing function

After the rice seedlings emerge, the non-woven fabric has an obvious moisturizing effect, which will reduce the frequency of watering the seedbed.

3. Warming function

----The maximum temperature in the non-woven fabric is 9-12 degrees lower than that of the plastic film, and the lowest temperature is 1-2 degrees lower than that of the plastic film;

----Non-woven fabrics are not like mulching films, which are easy to cause the phenomenon of roasting seedlings. The uncovering time is relatively wide.

4. Water permeable function

----The seedling strengthening agent is applied to farmers, and the non-woven fabric is spread before watering, which can prevent the seedling strengthening agent from shifting and causing the phenomenon of burning buds .

----After sowing and before seedlings, if the seedbed is short of water, cover with non-woven fabric during the watering process to prevent the scouring of the soil from causing the seeds to be exposed.

5. Convenient pre-seedling operation

----Before the non-woven fabric is peeled off, after the seedlings emerge, if the top cover is found, press the seedbed lightly with the seedling, and the seedling does not stick bed soil.

----In the process of uncovering the cover, it is relatively easy to operate. After the plastic film is wet, it is not easy to spread.

(2) Disadvantages

1. It is inconvenient for post-emergence management

The non-woven fabric is peeled off too late or it has been spread on the seedlings, and there is no visible The situation of the seedlings under the spinning cloth cannot take countermeasures.

2. There is a slight difference in light transmittance

After the seedlings emerge, if the non-woven fabric is not removed in time, it will affect the light to some extent. The longer the coverage time, the greater the impact. Therefore, it is generally not recommended to spread on the seedlings all the time.

The test showed that the light transmittance of plastic film was 76% in dry seedling bed, and that of non-woven fabric was 63%, and the difference was not significant.

3. Differences in warming performance

The test shows that the minimum temperature of non-woven fabric is 1-2 degrees lower than that of plastic film, and the warming performance is not as good as that of plastic film.

Clouds of non woven fabric supplier failures surround the world of non-woven company in particular, simply because people don’t pay as much attention to the CUSTOMIZING as they should do.
